"Having... over"

"Having …. over” is the starting point for a series of collaborations and meetings with various creators.

- My name is Linda Fratini and I am the founder of H(a)ve me over.
Thanks to my pots, I get to meet the most amazing creators. Under the title "Having ... over" I want to highlight other fellow creators and share with you in different ways.
A story, a small gift or surprise that comes with your purchase for a limited time. I believe that if you've found your way here, you share my interest in unique things and the people who create them.

I proudly present HVE ME OVER's first collaboration;

Having Jennie Petersen over

In our first collaboration you will meet the beautiful Jennie Petersen. I am a big fan of both Jennie and her art. Personally I love how she depicts the woman outside the norm and in the most lovely colors.

In our collaboration, Jennie has painted a canvas painting in acrylic that is the original for a limited edition A4 poster that will be sent with your order as a gift from 26/8- 31/10 2024. The offer is valid while supplies last.

Read Jennie's thoughts on the collaboration

-It was a natural thing for me to say yes, Linda is a fantastic and creative person, positive and kind. A strong woman.
I love the pots and the colors that Linda chooses, I think the pots and my pajama ladies together are such a natural fit!
It feels like Linda and I speak the same color language and a plus is that we have a lot of fun together.

The painting I made reflects the innocence that I feel in Linda's pots.
The shapes and attitudes in the pots show a kind of innocence that I myself work with in my paintings. But I can also see a self-confidence to dare to take a place as a common denominator.

ABOUT Jennie Petersen
I started painting a couple of years ago but it wasn't until recently that I found my direction during a period of stress-related sick leave. Having felt like I was never good enough, as almost all women do, I wanted to challenge the norm and how we perceive the female body, but I also wanted to reinforce my sense of competence.
I wanted to paint different bodies and women, and in this process it made me see different lines and curves that are truly beautiful instead of seeing what the ideal tells us women.
I mainly paint with oil pastels and acrylics, but soon I will take on the challenge of painting with oils and I also want to learn sculpture. Creativity is important in my life and painting creates a harmonious balance in my life.
I am inspired by women who believe in themselves, women who dare to take their place and challenge ideals and norms.
I think there are many female artists throughout history who deserve their rightful place. Some of my favorites include Helene Schjerbeck, Vanessa Bell, Sonia Delaunay, Sigrid Hjertén and Lena Cronqvist.
Hope you like your new artwork!
